Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. General Requirements / Persyaratan Umum

English

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • The manuscript should be written in English using clear scientific language.
  • Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy of the content, grammar, and references.
  • All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using iThenticate or Turnitin.
     The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20 %.

Bahasa Indonesia

  • Naskah harus asli, belum pernah dipublikasikan, dan tidak sedang dalam proses penelaahan di tempat lain.
  • Naskah ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris dengan bahasa ilmiah yang jelas.
  • Penulis bertanggung jawab penuh atas keakuratan isi, tata bahasa, dan daftar pustaka.
  • Semua naskah akan diperiksa menggunakan iThenticate atau Turnitin dengan batas kesamaan maksimum 20 %.
  1. Manuscript Format / Format Naskah

English

  • File: Microsoft Word (.docx).
  • Paper size: A4, 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
  • Font: Palatino Linotype; Title 11 pt bold, body text 10 pt.
  • Length: Recommended 10–15 pages.

Bahasa Indonesia

  • Berkas: Microsoft Word (.docx).
  • Ukuran kertas: A4, margin 2,5 cm pada setiap sisi.
  • Font: Palatino Linotype; Judul 11 pt tebal, isi teks 10 pt.
  • Panjang naskah: Disarankan 10–15 halaman.
  1. Manuscript Structure / Struktur Naskah

Follow the order below / Ikuti urutan berikut:

  1. Title / Judul
    • Provide both an Indonesian and an English title (max 16 words).
    • Sediakan judul Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris (maksimal 16 kata).
  2. Author Names and Affiliations / Nama Penulis dan Afiliasi
    • List full names without academic degrees; include department, institution, city, and country.
    • Cantumkan nama lengkap tanpa gelar; sertakan departemen, institusi, kota, dan negara.
    • Include email addresses for all authors; mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*).
    • Sertakan alamat email semua penulis; penulis korespondensi diberi tanda (*).
  3. Abstract and Keywords / Abstrak dan Kata Kunci
    • Written in English and Indonesian, maximum 350 words.
    • Ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia, maksimal 350 kata.
    • State background, objectives, methods, key results, and conclusions.
    • Jelaskan latar belakang, tujuan, metode, hasil utama, dan kesimpulan.
    • Provide 3–5 keywords / Sertakan 3–5 kata kunci.
  4. Introduction / Pendahuluan
    • Background from general to specific, rationale, related research, research gap/novelty, objectives.
    • Latar belakang umum hingga khusus, alasan penelitian, tinjauan pustaka, kebaruan penelitian, dan tujuan.
    • Use APA 7th edition; paraphrased citations preferred.
    • Gunakan APA edisi ke-7; sitasi parafrasa dianjurkan.
  5. Methods / Metode
    • Describe design, population/sample, instruments, data collection, analysis, and ethical approval.
    • Jelaskan desain, populasi/sampel, instrumen, pengumpulan dan analisis data, serta persetujuan etik.
    • Include flowcharts or diagrams if needed.
    • Sertakan bagan atau diagram bila perlu.
    • Tables, figures, equations created in Word (not screenshots).
    • Tabel, gambar, dan persamaan dibuat di Word (bukan tangkapan layar).
  6. Results and Discussion / Hasil dan Pembahasan
    • Present findings with clear tables/figures and discuss interpretations, comparisons, and limitations.
    • Sajikan hasil dengan tabel/gambar yang jelas, diskusikan interpretasi, perbandingan, dan keterbatasan.
  7. Conclusion / Kesimpulan
    • Summarize main findings and implications, include study limitations and future research suggestions.
    • Ringkas temuan utama dan implikasinya, sertakan keterbatasan penelitian dan saran penelitian lanjutan.
  8. References / Daftar Pustaka
    • Follow APA 7th edition.
    • Gunakan APA edisi ke-7.
    • Minimum 15 references; ≥80 % from reputable journals (Scopus, WoS, PubMed, DOAJ, or Sinta S1–S2) within last 10 years (preferably 5).
    • Minimal 15 referensi; ≥80 % dari jurnal bereputasi (Scopus, WoS, PubMed, DOAJ, atau Sinta S1–S2) 10 tahun terakhir (5 tahun terakhir diutamakan).
    • Use a reference manager (Mendeley, Zotero, or Word References).
    • Gunakan pengelola referensi (Mendeley, Zotero, atau Word References).
  1. Tables, Figures & Equations / Tabel, Gambar & Persamaan

English

  • Number all consecutively, give clear captions, place near related text.
  • Do not use images of tables or equations.

Bahasa Indonesia

  • Nomori secara berurutan, beri keterangan yang jelas, letakkan dekat teks terkait.
  • Jangan gunakan gambar untuk tabel atau persamaan.

  • JKDH applies a double-blind peer review process.
  • Review period: approximately 4–8 weeks.
  • Authors must revise according to reviewers’ and editors’ comments.

  • JKDH menerapkan proses penelaahan sejawat double-blind.
  • Waktu review sekitar 4–8 minggu.
  • Penulis wajib merevisi sesuai masukan reviewer dan editor.
  1. Publication Ethics / Etika Publikasi

English

  • Authors must comply with international standards of research and publication ethics.
  • Studies involving human participants require an ethical clearance statement.

Bahasa Indonesia

  • Penulis harus mematuhi standar internasional etika penelitian dan publikasi.
  • Penelitian yang melibatkan manusia wajib melampirkan surat keterangan etik.
